- The Fourth Biennial POA Members Meeting will be held in Wellington, New Zealand, over 10-12 November 2012 to coincide with the International Ombudsman Institute World Conference.
- The Office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman is pleased to announce that Mr Colin Neave commenced as the Australian Commonwealth Ombudsman on 17 September 2012.
- The Pacific Ombudsman Alliance mourns the loss of a great friend and colleague, Chief Ombudsman Mr Chronox Manek, of the Ombudsman Commission of Papua New Guinea. Deepest sympathies are with the late Chief’s family and staff of the Ombudsman’s Commission in this time of great sadness.
